TechRow Fund delivers innovative funding solutions to close critical capacity gaps in after-school and summer programs.
Our Story
TechRow Fund began in Harlem, NY with a mission to strengthen the future of education by funding bold, community-rooted after-school and summer programs.
We started by supporting immersive initiatives that introduced emerging technologies like virtual reality—not as a novelty, but as a tool to boost engagement, build confidence in educators, and expand access to real-world learning in historically disconnected communities.
As we expanded into Brooklyn and the Bronx, we witnessed a recurring challenge: program providers often had the funding—just not when they needed it.
Delays in public funding cycles, burdensome grant requirements, and difficulty securing matching dollars from school districts made it nearly impossible for many organizations to launch or sustain programming on time.
We weren’t delivering the programs—we were funding them. And even with committed dollars, the system made delivery fragile.
That’s why we created TechRow Fund: to close the timing gap in after-school and summer program funding through flexible, catalytic capital—so high-impact programming can launch on time, grow sustainably, and unlock opportunity in the communities that need it most.
